1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using EventBarrier ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

EventBarrier is operated by Nicolas Bonet ("we," "us," or "our"), an individual based in Colombia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our calendar synchronization service.

2. Description of Service

EventBarrier is a freemium calendar synchronization service that helps prevent double-booking by automatically creating blocking events across multiple Google Calendars. The service:

• Connects to your Google Calendar accounts via OAuth authentication
• Monitors events across your selected calendars
• Automatically creates "Busy" blocking events to prevent scheduling conflicts
• Provides real-time synchronization through webhooks
• Offers a dashboard to manage calendar settings and sync preferences
• Free tier: Synchronization between up to 2 calendars
• Premium tier: Unlimited calendar synchronization and advanced features

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To use EventBarrier, you must have a valid Google account and grant the necessary permissions for calendar access. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring you have the right to access and modify the calendars you connect
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Pricing and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

EventBarrier offers a free tier that allows synchronization between up to 2 Google Calendars. The free tier includes:

• Basic calendar synchronization
• Manual sync triggers
• Standard support via email

4.2 Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions provide access to advanced features including:

• Unlimited calendar synchronization
• Real-time webhook synchronization
• Advanced conflict detection
• Priority support
• Additional customization options

4.3 Payment Terms

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the free tier.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use EventBarrier only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to spam or send unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service in any way that could damage our reputation

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using EventBarrier, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

EventBarrier accesses your Google Calendar data solely to provide the synchronization service. We do not sell, rent, or share your calendar data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of EventBarrier, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical difficulties
• Third-party service outages (including Google services)
• Force majeure events

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

EventBarrier is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the service
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

In no event shall Nicolas Bonet be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nicolas Bonet from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by:

• Discontinuing use of the service
• Revoking Google OAuth permissions
• Contacting us to delete your account

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Colombia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombia.
